Masquerade Ball 2021

Margaret Louise from Frankton

Building Renovation Fundraiser for Riverlea Theatre, Hillcrest, Hamilton.

Our annual Masquerade Ball on Saturday the 21st of August, 2021 at 7.30pm is a key fundraiser to help towards the rebuild of the theatre.

This will be a fabulous evening which features “The Malcolm Barr Big Band” to dance to, and some other fun events throughout the evening to keep you entertained.

There will be Auctions, Quick Fire Raffles and Spot Prizes for the Best Dressed Male and Female, Best Mask, Best Dancer, Best Handmade Mask and Most Unique Mask.

There will be a photographer taking photos of your amazing attire. (Please note that if you don't want your photo used for future advertising, please let us know)

You can purchase a photo for a fee, which also goes towards making this Building Renovation a reality.

There will be a light supper, catered for by CaterPlus.

The Bar will be open and while it is only public prices on the night (no club pricing that night) we all know our public prices are extremely reasonable compared to other venues.

Tickets are $60 each and are available through iTicket at the below link:
www.iticket.co.nz...

It would be great if you could come along or pass this invitation on to someone that would like to come.
Hope to see you there!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
