Drug and Alcohol Court for Hamilton

Jamie Neighbourly Lead from Chartwell

Great to see an announcement from Minister Andrew Little this morning that Hamilton will be receiving a Drug and Alcohol Court.

These courts make a real difference to people: within two years court participants are 23% less likely to reoffend for any offence, and 35% less likely to reoffend for a serious offence.

New way to deal with drug users announced for Waikato after successful pilots in Auckland. www.stuff.co.nz...
