Trees in Farnborough Drive
I notice that the trees in Farnborough Drive, between Dominion Rd roundabout & Baverstock Drive have been removed.
While I know these have been responsible for causing problems with the footpath I can't help but be a bit sad at their loss. In Spring the flowers were beautiful, in Summer they provided shade & a sense of coolness, in Autumn they were beautiful ( & yes I know the leaves were probably annoying to residents!), & in Winter they held the promise of things to come..........And they were beloved by birds & bees alike. The street now just looks bare & lacks character. Let's hope this isn't a sign of what is in store for the rest of the suburbs.
