Youth Member of Parliament
I am looking for a Youth MP, aged 16-18. This is an opportunity for a young person to represent their peers and community, and to learn first-hand about our democracy. Those interested need to upload a two minute video to my Facebook page, tag me - Jamie Strange MP - in it and from there a panel will shortlist, before I select the winner. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
