Walk for Dementia SUNDAY March 25 3pm Hamilton Lake by the Yacht Club

Come along and join everyone in this national event, Walk for Dementia. We start at near the Yacht Club at 3pm. Free t-shirts for the first arrivals, until they're all gone. Register on arrival, just $5 per person (free under 12yrs). Raise awareness, raise funds, and help build our communities where everyone lives well. PS - anyone got a drone they could bring? - we'd love to capture some images. And if you'd like to volunteer some extra help, give us a call Hamilton 929 4042.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
