“Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper!

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favourite Dr Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Director - Julia Turner
Musical Director – Coryn Knapper
Choreographer – Mike Sorensen

By L. Ahrens & S. Flaherty. Based on books by Dr. Seuss
With permission from Hal Leonard Australia Pty. Ltd

Riverlea Theatre is easily accessible at 83 Riverlea Rd with plenty of free on-site parking.

This is a lovely, elegant, solid wood table, that seats 6 in it's standard position, but does extend further. When I bought it, I was told that it was Mahogany, & that I was the third owner.
The extension is in excellent condition, with no colour contrast with the standard top- ie there has been no wood fading.
6 comfortable chairs are part of this auction, & the padded areas are covered in a velvet-like fabric.
The legs of both the table & the chairs are turned & elegant.
It is not a modern table. I was told that it was 'old' when I bought it privately.
All joins are in a solid condition, no exposure to borer, from a non-smoking home. It is a very comfortable height for eating & socialising.
There are 2 small flaws, which is reflected in the price; there is a fine line like a pulled thread on the upright of 1 chair, & on another chair there is a piece of wood missing (from before my time), which I doubt would be noticed once covered in either perhaps a matching stain or rubbed with a walnut.

Measurements;
Length= 150.5 cm
Extended length= 205cm
Width= 100cm
Height= 72.5 cm
To the chair seat= 49.5cm
To the top of the chair back= 103.5cm.

I am selling as I am downsizing.
No other items shown in the photos are for sale.

Price: $300

It is such a handsome piece & has been soundly made. It is solid wood.
The joins are secure, the drawers run smoothly. The wood is a lovely warm Mahogany colour.
The design is lovely, with it's slightly bowed legs for shape & detail with the cut-out underneath the table top.
The shelves are open all the way through & the drawers open full on each side- ie they can slide back & forth, which is extremely useful.
When I bought it, I was given a perspex piece which sits inside one of the open shelves, which can be used to keep dust/fingers off your stereo/DVD etc & still allow the remote to work. A shown in the photos, the perspex can just be easily taken out.
It is such a practical size & has excellent storage- for CDs, DVDs, magazine, photo albums- what ever ideas you can think of.
Measurements;
Length= 111cm
Width= 50.5cm
Height= 46.5cm
Each shelf measures 55cm long by 12.5cm high.
Each drawer with it's metal ring measures 40cm long by 12.5cm high.

I am only selling as I am downsizing.
