2020 Volunteer of the Year Award - COMMENDATION
Volunteering Waikato would like to congratulate Glenys Wood who received a Commendation in the 2020 Volunteer of the Year Awards.
Glenys started engaging with ethnic women through her job and has continued to support them for 17 years on a voluntary basis. She has the ability to think outside the box and connect with them in ways that allow her to share information and practical skills. Glenys was nominated by Shama Hamilton Ethnic Women's Centre.
Our thanks to the good folk at Smith & McKenzie Steak House who provided a lovely prize. We hope you enjoy your night out Glenys!
