water for animals
I always leave a large shallow bowl of water outside for my cat, as well as one inside. In this very hot weather the outside one is often completely empty in the morning; far more than my cat can drink overnight!
I can only imagine that there are other animals nearby who are very thirsty & have been led to my place in desperation for water.
Please people, put water outside for your animals, they can become very ill if they don't have access to clean water

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
