FREE 8 Week Raranga (Flax Weaving) Course

We are pleased to announce our next 8 week course will start Wednesday August 5th 2020 at 6.00pm-8.00pm.
This course is more suited for advanced tauira but is open to all interested whanau who have a desire to learn and or advance their skills in this taonga tuku iho (precious gift handed down).
Our awesome tutor, Tui Kirkwood has a Bachelor in Maori Arts and assists to facilitate the arts and crafts workshops at our very own Waikato museum.
Spaces are limited so please register at the office via email on goodnewscommunitycentre@gmail.com or phone us on 07 850 5020 to book your space.
You will find us on the corner of Dominion Road and Breckons Ave Nawton. Nau mai, Haere mai, Hoki mai.
