Hamilton plans pushback on housing density rules

You've probably read about housing reforms that will allow large townhouses and towering apartment blocks to be built across most city suburbs.

Some Hamilton City councillors are already urging pushback, including Ryan Hamilton - who noted heritage and river health could be ways to do it.

“My direction ... to [council] staff will be to take those qualifying matters to the nth degree and ... push back so that we can get good future-proof, well-considered design for the city,” Hamilton said.

Last month Hamilton City Council slammed the brakes on a number of not-yet contracted roading projects that would have installed more raised platforms and in-lane bus stops across the city after a “tsunami” of push-back from the public.

Are these seals still any good?.
hinges have been replaced but still not sealing tight enough ??
Is an old 60's house, i guess wear and tear windows dont seal as good??
