Let's work together to get Waikato DHB area 90%+ vaccinated

The PM has said that all DHBs need to have a 90%+ double vaccination rate across the country. That decision will minimize deaths when we open up. In the Waikato, some vulnerable groups are not near that target. Let's try and engage with neighbours and whanau to improve vaccination numbers.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was in town on Tuesday to turn the sod for the $76.3m project.

“If Covid has shown us anything, it is how crucial it is for that sense of wellbeing for us to be together, for us to experience the arts, to have an outlet for creativity,” she said. “And here we will have that."
