It's been the question on many people's lips, but Waikato DHB says no significant locations of interest have come to light.
"Potential exposure events" in Hamilton were between individuals or within workplaces, and were followed up directly by Public Health, the DHB's executive director of Māori, equity, and health improvement Riki Nia Nia said.
The lack of locations of interest was probably driving demand for tests, he said.

We found Misty when we moved into our flat. She was very skinny and scared and we tried to find an owner. She didnt have a microchip and no one claimed her after putting up ads and asking in the neighbourbood. So she has been living with us since. We dont know how old she is but probably over 5 years.
Unfortunately we are moving overseas and would like to find her a good home before we leave. We have contacted some rescue places and they suggested we try rehoming on our own first.
Misty is a very quiet cat that keeps to herself, and doesnt demand a lot of attention unless her food bowl is empty. Naps most of the day. She would be great as the only pet as she doesnt get along with other animals in the neighbourhood. She doesnt require much attention and only allows petting or holding if she takes the initiative and comes to you. A household where people spend most of the day away would be fine as well.
If you would like more information about her or interested in giving her a home comment or contact me at 021 140 1849. Please leave a voice msg or text if we are unable to pick the call and we would get back to you. We would really like to find her a good kind home.
