Getting it right for our coasts
The coast is cherished by all New Zealanders for its beauty, natural values and as a place to live, work and play.
The Waikato Regional Coastal Plan will set out the objectives, policies and rules used to manage our region’s coastal marine area – the wet area below high tide.
So, it’s important you share your thoughts about how we should be able to maintain, improve and manage this coastal environment into the future.
It’s our coast. It’s our collective responsibility to get this right.
Make sure you have your say.
