Margarine tub lids, sauce bottle caps, jam jar tops, beer caps and countless other vessel-closers can finally get closure with a recycling option now available.

Three supermarkets in the region - New World Te Rapa, PAK’nSAVE Mill Street, and PAK’nSAVE Te Awamutu - have joined a growing nationwide recycling programme, giving a way to divert these items from the tip.

Hospital ED new location of interest in measles spread

Two separate days in the last week were listed on Health NZ’s website on Friday morning as a place where someone with measles was known to have visited.
