Today is the International Day of Older Persons! It's an important day for everyone to recognize and say thank you to older people for their amazing contributions to the world, from mentoring and volunteering, to sharing experience, being in paid work and much more.
To acknowledge the occasion, we have just released our October SuperSeniors Newsletter, you can read it here: bit.ly...
The day is also special as it marks the start of the WHO’s Decade of Healthy Ageing 2020 to 2030, you can find out more about it here: bit.ly...
Halloween can be a fun way to connect with your community. But naturally not all homes in New Zealand will get involved.
If your house is open to trick or treaters this weekend, or if you know of some popular, local streets for trick or treating, please share these below.
Cary has been honest, professional and a complete pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process of selling our rental property. He listened to us and understood we wanted our tenants looked after too whether they could stay in the property or if they had to find a new home. He took extra time to support the tenants and in the end all parties, even the buyer had the best outcome. The photos Cary had taken to advertise the property were magnificent and the promotion of the property was very professional. As we lived out of town we were unable to meet face to face but that was never a problem, Cary kept us well informed and called with regular updates. The main reason we chose Cary as our agent was he was realistic, he knew the area well and he explained everything clearly so we were all on the same page. We are extremely happy with the price we got for the house and sold quickly. Cary thank you, you truly are the best real estate agent we have come across and know you will continue to whole heartly continue to help other home buyers and sellers with the fantastic service you gave us. It is absolutely dreadful to think a police officer was opened fire upon; I can only praise her quick actions/reactions.
And now the hunt goes on for these abhorrent people and what a manhunt it is.
I just wonder when are we going to have the same urgency, the same level of prevention, the same level of monitoring of families who continue to murder the weakest in our society.
They have no means to defend themselves, they are entirely and absolutely defenceles:_
WHEN WILL ANYONE PUT IN PLACE PREVENTIVE MEASURES TO ensure this does not happen again
WHEN WILL the justice system give these murderers a just sentence, and at least a 5 year program of detailed, intensive intervention to ensure no more of our pepe are murdered
