EarthDiverse bus trip to the Auckland Art Gallery
Enjoy Art? Join EarthDiverse, and local artists, writers and lecturers Peter Dornauf, MA and Norman Franke, PhD for a wonderful day excursion to the Auckland Art Gallery and a guided tour of the Gothic Art exhibition entitled GOTHIC RETURNS: FUSELI TO FOMINSON. Loosely termed ‘gothic’ the exhibition embraces everything from horror stories to hauntings and everything in between. Hitchcock was a master at conjuring these demons in film, but artists from the romantic period through to the present have dipped their brush into that dark inky world and danced with the devil of the ghoulish, the spooky and the downright unnerving. Participants can choose to explore some artwork of the AAG's permanent collection, particularly the restored Brueghel the Younger painting ('The Village Fair') and can have some free time to explore other parts of the museum, Albert Park and the near-by shops such as Smith & Caughey's or Unity Books.
• When: Saturday 23 March 2024.
• Bus departs 9:00am from in front of the EarthDiverse Centre at 401 Anglesea Street and returns around 6:00pm.

S Steel Stovetop Cleaning
I am desperate to find someone who is experienced in cleaning a stainless steel stove top.The worst one was when I was making soup(about one and a half hours) and I was using a simmer mat. I have found that if I am using the burner for even an hour I get this pale brown "bloom" which is almost impossible to remove. The pics show that I have got some off but that is using steelo and I can't get around the burner. Please, only give me something that does work, so I don't wreck the thing totally. I can't take my pans off half way through cooking and wipe around, it would be too hot. I'm desperate.

A group of Hamilton business owners have started a petition to stop the council from hiking up rates and passing the cost of what they say are unpopular projects on to residents.
It frustrates longtime residents Tom Andrews, a former roading engineer who owns Classics Museum and has property interests and Jo Reeder, to see Hamiltonians facing large bills.
