Overwhelming support for extending the Te Huia rail service
The Waikato Regional Council today emailed 1499 submitters to their Long Term Plan. Of the 79% of responders to Transport, 95% supported a new interpeak service, corresponding with a successful uptake of the service - 153, 118, 222, 287, 123, 130 and 149 average daily loadings over seven weeks monitored!
