Kia ora neighbours, we at Waikato DHB want more of you to have a say in health.

We’re on a journey to enable better access to local community health and wellbeing. Come along and share your knowledge and experience as we work together on this.

When: 10am - Noon, Monday 12 October
Where: Western Community Centre, 46 Hyde Ave, Hamilton

Community Health Forums are a gathering of local people who share in a conversation about what matters to their community and hear what’s happening from the DHB and other local organisations/groups.

Cat-owners who have a Community Services Card can Snip ‘n’ Chip their cats or kittens for just $20! This is a limited time offer that is available until bookings run out.

In our last Snip ‘n’ Chip campaign, we desexed over 200 cats and we want this campaign to be even bigger! Help us give your cat a better life.

Visit SPCA’s Hamilton Centre now with your Community Services Card to purchase your Snip ‘n’ Chip voucher!

There are LIMITED numbers available so GET IN QUICK.

PLEASE NOTE: Vouchers can ONLY be purchased by visiting SPCA’s Hamilton Centre, not by calling us or by messaging us on Facebook. You will then need to book your cat/kitten in with your local Care Vets.

The Vinnie's and Salvation Army are the 2 Largest Providers of Food Parcels in Hamilton
Report a doubling of demand for Food Fruit and Veggies
The Pantry is alternative way of making Food available to those in need

WE ARE URGENTLY SEEKING HELP FROM OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY DONATIONS OF FRUIT VEGGIES & FOOD
THOSE WHO GIVE TODAY MAY FIND THEMSELVES RECIPIENTS TOMORROW OR VICE VERSA
SO IF YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE BY GIVING

Remember your first job? Glen just got his.

The Team Reporter from Hamilton Press

Glen Terry, 30, did a video for LinkedIn about how much he wanted to work, and employers listened.

Terry, who has Down Syndrome, now works in Gilmours Hamilton - a job he found with help from Disability Employment facilitator Selwyn Cook.
