Would you consider volunteering for a sports clubs after Covid-19?
Concerns about coronavirus have left sport clubs without some senior volunteers.
Some were already struggling to get enough helpers before Covid-19 - so Sport Waikato and Volunteering Waikato are launching a campaign to help out.
"It might be that a club needs someone for two hours pre-season to sort the uniforms, or someone one hour a week to put a newsletter together," Sport Waikato boss Matthew Cooper said. Read more here. Do you volunteer, or would you?
Roadworks on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri
From 7 to 18 December, there will be night-time closures on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri (Sundays to Thursdays, 9pm to 5am) to carry out wire rope barrier maintenance. Please expect delays when travelling through this area.
