Waikato Regional Council loses two candidates
The Waikato Regional Council has lost two election candidates after the sudden death of Maxine Moana-Tuwhangai, and the withdrawal of former Hamilton mayor Russ Rimmington on medical grounds.
Tipa Mahuta has now been elected unopposed to the council’s Ngā Hau e Whā Constituency.
