Have you voted for the GARDENA Gardener of the Year from your neighbourhood?
Rebekah Manley-Campbell and Samantha Claire are the dynamic duo/finalist in our GARDENA Gardener of the Year award. What would they do with all the cool gardening gear if they get the most votes? "We will be delighted to use them at the Bright Smile Community Garden to continue to improve and expand the work we do there. Samantha is also part of a group creating a second Community Garden in Thames which at this stage has no physical resources, eg tools and equipment, so we may be able to use some of the prizes there."

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
