But how could I say no? This wasn’t just any old adventure. It was my first-ever caving expedition, my debut in a wetsuit, and my introduction one of New Zealand’s oldest tourist destinations. The promise of glowworms and underground wonder lured me in like a moth to a bioluminescent glow.

A sweeping tranche of new laws aimed at putting the brakes on illegal street racing were announced on Sunday morning in Rotorua by Police Minister Mark Mitchell and Transport Minister Chris Bishop.
