Our Term 3 Portuguese 101 classes(along with all of our other language programmes) began last week but you can catch up at anytime by watching the video recordings. Our Introductory Portuguese course meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm (New Zealand time) and is available in-person, live-streamed via Zoom to anywhere in the world with a good internet connection, or via the weekly video recordings of each live session. The city's new mayor is setting out his plan
Hamilton City Council is pledging to cut costs and avoid “gold plating” infrastructure as part of a new strategy to limit rates increases, but Mayor Tim Macindoe says central government support may be needed to meet a new national rates cap.
Macindoe said Wellington needed to be “a little more nuanced” and take population growth into account.
