The great Garden Place debate continues. Three options have now been proposed, with one getting preliminary endorsement from Hamilton City Council.

- A redesign proposal from Matt Stark, Steve McLennan and Brian White.

- A rival proposal from Chow:Hill director Brian Squair.

Now, option three: bit.ly...
- Hamilton architect Andrew Bydder suggests a third option - do nothing.

On Tuesday, the Waikato Times revealed Waikato Thoroughbred Racing’s (WTR) plans to buy 150ha of farmland south of Hamilton to house the region’s three racing clubs at a new purpose-built racecourse and event centre.
