'We are re-litigating it' - Dissent coming at city council plan meet
It’s involved significant financial fireworks over conflicting opinions but Hamilton City Council’s 2024-34 long term plan (LTP) is now set to narrowly get the nod for adoption on Thursday.
But several senior councillors warn it won’t all be plain sailing for mayor Paula Southgate and her supporters, even if they have the numbers for their approach.

Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.
He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
