Poll: Should Hamilton's Municipal Pools be demolished?

Hamilton City Council has applied to demolish the Municipal Pools, which haven't been operating since 2012.
Council is going for resource consent to knock down the Category B Heritage Complex at the south end of Victoria Street.
The application is publicly notified, which means anyone who is interested can have their say by making a submission. Find the submission form here.

Fonterra has cut its forecast Farmgate Milk Price for the 2025/26 season after a ninth straight global dairy trade auction dip.

On Thursday, the Co-op adjusted the forecast range from $9-$10 per kilo of milk solids to $8.50 to $9.50 with the midpoint changing from $9.50 per to $9.
