Is NZ Lotto really community minded?

Dave from Pirongia - Karamu

It’s possible another rapidly approaching jackpot is closing in, during the build-up weeks lotto players still have the chance to win the big one however when it reaches the “must win target of $50ML” why not spread that $50ML across the NZ communities and create more NZ millionaires. Operated like a Lotto special promotion you could see different formulas, say 10 X $5Millionaires or even 25 X $2 millionaires. Is it better for $50ML jackpots to go to one or two winners or would it be better spread across NZ communities? I certainly think so.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
