The finance minister has been well impressed by Hamilton’s growth and expects the wider region to play a big part in achieving a goal of doubling exports by 2034.
Those comments from Nicola Willis, the minister of both Finance and Economic Growth, came in an exclusive interview with the Waikato Times at Hamilton Gardens on Thursday.
