city council

Mike from Fairfield

i find it interesting that the city council takes it upon themselves to up our rates whenever they feel the need to and yet we get nothing in return but we do lose a curtain amount of our services that we pay like rubbish removal, they wont take a curtain plastic (and yet auckland takes everything) and they refuse to pick up cardboard thats any bigger than a shoes box give or take and they have recently raised the prices at the dump. Why do we pay rates in this city ?

Restoration of Faded or Damaged Photographs

John from Enderley

I restore digital images of photos that have been scanned to your PC. I can usually repair faded, out of focus or damaged images whether coloured or black and white. If you are interested, contact me at hendynz@gmail.com and I will give you instructions and a quote on the costs. I will not charge for any photos that can’t be repaired, or you are not satisfied with the result.
Below is an example of a recent restoration of a very faded photo taken of my great grandmother in the late 1800s.
