Paint on a crate

The Team from Resene ColorShop Te Rapa

Painting can be relaxing, and calming, a bit like an adult colouring book.

Think of this painted wooden crate project as an opportunity to paint mindfully, plus a handy way to take care of the clutter in a colourful way.

All you need is a wooden crate, sandpaper, your favourite Resene testpots and a little imagination.

Make the most of this weekend with this easy step by step project idea from Resene. Find out how to create your own

Recycling update

The Team from Hamilton City Council

Recycling collections have stopped due to safety concerns over COVID-19 being spread to our staff sorting recyclables by hand. Our team have been kindly emptying your crates to keep our streets safe and tidy as some people may not have heard about our changes yet.

From Wednesday (1 April 2020), recycling crates put out for collection won’t be emptied. Rubbish bags will be collected as normal. Paper and cardboard will still be collected but sent to landfill.
