Hi all - Nanny C, Chrissy, has arrived in Sumner. I will take the best care of your children in the world. I have had a lifetime of experience of caring for children of all ages for family, friends, and professionally. I have a grown-up son and a dear wee grandson who live in Mt Maunganui. My daughter lives in Christchurch where I have happily now settled. I have recently been a nanny for three little boys, 2, 4, and 6, along with other families I sometimes help out, and I am now available again. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
