MPI issues recall for peaches

Californian Peach recall is poor management from NZ MPI. US & Canadian officials took action 1 June - 19 Aug 2020. Weeks before products were dispatched to NZ shelves. MPI must pick up their game not to mention the potential COVID-19 spread from AMERICOLD & other imported products. US & Canadian news reporter covered this Salmonella outbreak 2 weeks ago. Why is NZ fruit & produce so expensive for local residents?
