Argentine Tango workshop - 251 College St Palmerston North Sunday 21 August 4-6pm
Every second Sunday Tango del Corazon runs Argentine Tango Practicas from the Manawatu Deer Stalkers Hall 251 College St Palmerston North. The 2 hour sessions are $5. This Sunday Aug 21 Susan Callan, from Wellington's Tango Collab teacher group, is conducting an Open Level Argentine Tango workshop. This workshop includes a 1-hour practica, and will be totally suitable for beginning tango dancers. . Payment is by cash or bank transfer at the door. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
