Sanson Market tries to block Halcombe Boot Sale

Daisy from Feilding

Sanson Market management (Sanson Community Committee) made a complaint to the Council that I planned to have a Free Boot Sale and Garage Sale in Halcombe. Myself and others can't understand how something going on in Halcombe would affect the Sanson Market.

Are they worried that it sets a precedent having a FREE Boot Sale?
Are they worried that some of the people having a stall in Halcombe would have come to Sanson to have a stall?
I am struggling to understand their motivation. I was just hoping to do something good for the community.

The many campers on the rugby field appreciated my Garage Sale and the Boot Sale as well as locals who had a stall and others who came for an outing. Thanks to all the visitors and stallholders for making it a great day! Hope we can do it again in the future.
