Coloured ram for sale

Wendy from South Wairarapa District

The vitals: 5yo, nice nature non-aggressive, prolific producer of twins, good teeth, good feet, consistent fleece. Romney/perendale.

He's for sale because we've used him 2yrs and we're introducing new blood and need to make room. He's a blue pattern but heterozygous for both moorit and spotting, which means he can produce brown and spotted lambs. All of his lambs with us have been twins. He's entirely non-aggressive, kept in working farm conditions not as a pet, good ram with ewes or hoggets. Not gonna lie he smells pretty rank, but the ladies seem to like it. :)

If you're looking to add some colour to your fleeces with an easy keeping ram that produces saleable lambs, he's a good choice. Pictures show him in about 5 months' wool, and some of the colours he's produced for us this year.

Price: $100

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
