Tolerance and Acceptance

Sandra from Timberlea

In platforms like Neighbourly, there will ALWAYS be comments / views that differ from our own.
And so it should be.
We live in diverse communities and should be able to respect / tolerate differing opinion.
There are a few things that get up my nose at times - but hey! Who am I to judge? Add a comment, ask for clarification, or ignore is my motto.
I do find that at times the generational gap can lead to misconceptions.
Just ask for clarification! Put oneself in other's shoes.
Thanks heaps to our Neighbourly Team. In saying that ... am beginning to think we need a '3 strikes' approach really.
It just may be an idea that any 'censored message' is followed up with a reason so one is able to to adjust.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
