Another 10 double passes to SIX60 have been drawn for our Neighbourly members! We have 100 double passes to give away as well as an exclusive concert by one of the supporting acts from the SIX60 tour.
To be eligible, make sure you are a verified Neighbourly member (need a hand verifying your address? Click here). We’ll also need to see you being more Neighbourly, whether it’s posting to your neighbourhood, replying to questions or inviting your neighbour to join the site (we’ve put together a few ideas here).
Does anyone have off cuts of wediboard (blue and grey very light waterproof board used to line bathrooms before tiling) they are throwing out? Very good backing for mosaics. Not sure what it’s called in NZ and only came across it when I lived in UK but hoping someone knows what it’s called here and better still, had some they are throwing away.
Neko Ngeru Cat Adoption Café in Petone is a wonderful place to visit if you love our feline friends. Its run by Richelle and Ken who love to help cats – and cat rescues – by running this café to find loving homes for them. Several rescues, including KittyCat Rehoming Wairarapa, send some of their rescues to Neko Ngeru to be adopted. The amazing thing about Ken and Richelle is that they give rescues their full adoption fee so we’re not out of pocket. They charge a fee to enter the cat room at the café so you can spend time with their adorable kitties. They also sell beautiful quality merchandise – for cats and people mad about them – at the café. Their cat room is open to adults and children 8 years and over.
Check out their Facebook page www.facebook.com... or their website nekongeru.nz...
