Peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Home of St Barnabas, Dunedin, in her 91st year. Dearly loved wife of the late Philip. Loved grandmother to her 18 grandchildren and loved great-grandmother to her 6 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Beloved wife of the late Hugh, loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Melanie, and Joanne and James, treasured Granny of Mathew, Kate, Anna, Thomas, and Millie, sister and sister-in-law of Margaret (dec) and Murray Eder, and Peter and Gwenda Ireland, admired aunt of her nieces and nephews, and close family friend to the McKenzie family of Hakataramea. Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Stanley Francis. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Andrew, Robyn, Alan and Marilyn, Malcolm and Fiona, Joy and Greg, Gay and William, Peter and Julie, and mother-in-law of Bob Howden. Adored and devoted Nana to her 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Bob and Mona, Barbara and Charles, David and June, the late Mabel, Nell and Jim, Eileen and Passmore, sister-in-law of Jean, the late Malcolm (Mac) and Gladys, Dulcie and Ian, Mavis and Sandy, and loved by her many nieces and nephews. The family are infinitely grateful to the staff at Oxford Hospital for the love and care given to Amy in her last days.
