On November 15, 2022, passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Jan. Loved father and father-in-law of Jenny and Warren, and Karen and Kevin. Loved Grandad Jack of Nicole, Olivia, Jayden and Elise. The family would like to thank the staff at Christchurch Hospital for their care of Jack. Sadly we announce the passing of our rangatira, Taare Hikurangi Bradshaw. After a short illness, our Dad passed peacefully, in the arms of his whnau. Beloved eldest and only son of the late Norman and Ngawara Bradshaw (nee Kereti). Adored brother of Erenora*, Tamaku, Ngawara, Kataraina, Rena, Maria* and Huhana*. Darling partner of Rahera Muriwai Harmon. Dear friend of Janice Smith. Much loved father of Tuhimata, Robert, Huia, Reitini, Stefan and Melanie. Treasured and loved Koro, brother, uncle and cousin. Esteemed colleague and friend to many. We remember and cherish his love for whnau and whakapapa, his kindness toward others, his love of learning and teaching, his many creative endeavours and his fantastic storytelling skills.
We will forever miss our dad, a kind, gentle, caring person.
Taare will rest at his family marae Te Rau Aroha, Bradshaw Street, Bluff. His final mass service and interment will take place from 11.00am, Monday, November 21, 2022, followed with burial at Greenpoint Cemetery.

Sadly we announce that Lyn died suddenly at Christchurch Hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2022. A much loved wife and best friend to Maurice for 56 years. The family wishes to share the passing of Lauren, age 58, on 17 November 2022. Much loved Daughter of Eda, Sister to Donna & Peter, Sister-in-law to Les & Kirsty, Aunty to Olivia & Frances, and beloved Mother of Becky. A particular thank you to the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff, first at Sprott House and then at Bupa Whitby, that have cared for our Lauren. To have the home feel like family is a true testament to their wonderful service and just how special Lauren was. Much loved mother of Simon and Jeremy, and grandmother of Ben, Toby, Anna, Charlotte and Billy. Rosalie was a long serving head of libraries in Horowhenua, a practicing Justice of the Peace, and a stalwart of the Levin Pottery Club. A service to celebrate Rosalie’s life will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, at 2.00pm on Wednesday 23rd November, followed by a private cremation.
