McATEER, Ian Patrick

Passed away peacefully, after complications from a fall on Monday 14 November 2022, with family by his side, aged 85. Much loved husband of Flo aka "The Duchess", loved dad of Jude and Dave, Jackie and Steve, Patrick and Nics, and Michelle and Ken. Treasured grandfather, great- grandfather, and wonderful friend to many. A service to celebrate Ian’s life will be held in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Rd, Albany on Friday 18 November at 1.30 pm, followed by interment in North Shore Memorial Park Cemetery. Peacefully at home in Feilding in the presence of family on Monday, November 14, 2022, the lord called you home, aged 87 years. Loved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Jury). Loved Dad of Jock, Maria, Tina, Teura, Tai, Robert, Eileen. Respected and loved father-in-law of Chris, Lisa and Jacob, and a much loved Uncle of Joesph and Rikki. A much loved grandfather. A service to celebrate the life of Rangi will be held at William Cotton and Sons Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. DAVIN, Rachael Mary

18.2.1946 — 12.9.2022
Rachael died peacefully at Wellington Hospital on 12 September 2022 as the result of an accident. She was the devoted partner of Basil Emms for over 30 years and a much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt to the Davin, Tunnicliffe and Emms families. A private family funeral service was held on Friday 16 September. Basil and the family are now holding a social gathering to celebrate Rachael’s life on Friday, 18 November 2022 at the Shepherd’s Arms, Tinakori Road, Thor ndon, from 1.30pm to 4.00pm. Those who knew her and loved her are welcome to join her family for this event.

On November 9, 2022, aged 89, at Homestead Rest Home, Christchurch. Loved husband of Margaret Jean (deceased), father and father-in-law of Nigel and Janet, Andrea and Terry, Darren and Alanna. Loved Grandfather of all his grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill, at 3.00pm today Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.

On 10th November 2022, aged 55 years. Very dearly loved mother of Alex and closest friend to many. Beautiful daughter of Jackson James Wood and Jessica Graves. Boudica died shortly after her birth at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, 10 November 2022. First grandchild of Jo and Rick Wood and niece of Rhiannon Wood.

Our much loved Dad and Grandad passed away peacefully on 12th November 2022 surrounded by the love of his family. Aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne, Dad to Kelly and Steve Henderson, Gerard and Jeanine, Brendan, Dan and Bronwyn, Rob and Amy, and Veronica and Chris Briggs. Much loved Grandad of Josh, Megan and Chloe Henderson; Ronan, Niamh and Angus Brier; Emily, Sofia, Georgia and Luke Brier; Mia, Grace and Reuben Brier; and Zara, Connor and Jordie Briggs.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 625 Alexander St, Te Awamutu, on Friday 18th November at 11.30am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated and may be left

On November 11, 2022, Myra passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 91 years old. She was the loved wife of the late David, sister Dawne, daughters Cheryl, Roslyn and Melanie, sons-in-law Larry, Guy and Jamie and Robert, grandchildren Brett, Dion, Abby, Corey, Adam, Luke and Dane, great-grandies Cameron, River, Amelia, Liam, Emily, Shay, Sam, Lexie, Aila-Rose and Harvey. According to Myra’s wishes her final farewell was with her immediate family in the garden at 10b Kaputone Place, Belfast, Christchurch, where messages may be addressed. Our thanks to the lovely friends and staff at Golden Age Rest Home.

A very special, courageous, and generous person – died
peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved and loving wife of Michael McHugh. Loving mother to Josh Molloy, Matt Cleland, Lauren McHugh and James McHugh. Big Fierce Sister Rabbit of Sally, Timothy (dec), Patrick, Stephen, Matthew, Joanna and Rachel. Loving and generous aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
