Died peacefully on 27th December 2022, 1 day shy of her 77th birthday. Loved wife of Peter and the late Robin, loved daughter of Frank and Airdrie Williams and Dan Ellwood. Loved mother of Murray, Margaret and John Salter, and Brian and Glenda Parfitt. Loved sister of Margaret (dec), Katrina Reddick (dec), Alayna Ellwood, Grant Williams (dec), Scott and Carol Craig, and Amanda Blair and Pa Kirk and Rose, Kirsty Williams and Iain Spencer. A private cremation has taken place. Thanks to Palmerston North Hospital staff and Star4 Levin for their care of Fiona.
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 28th December 2022, at Tokoroa Hospital, aged 74. Dearly loved wife of the late Bruce Stothers, cherished partner of Barry Evans. Much loved Mother of Tracy, Simon, Wayne (Dec) and Aubrey. Treasured by her 5 grandchildren, loved by all her siblings and whanau. Barbara will lay in state at her home ( 6395 State Highway 1, Atiamuri). A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at the Activate Church, cnr Maraetai & Thompson Roads, Tokoroa, on Friday 30 December at 11.00am.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

We celebrate the life of Jennifer M. Wong, age 63, of Lanikai, Hawaii. Jenny passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 19, 2020. Jenny was the link that kept family and friends connected across the globe. She was a voracious reader, an avid knitter and homemaker, who loved her pets and enjoyed travel. Born on March 22, 1957, in Wellington, New Zealand, she is the youngest daughter of the late Kenneth and Joyce Stephen. She attended St Mary’s School before graduating from the Wellington School of Nursing at Massey University. She served as a nurse in the NZ Army before specializing in psychiatric nursing. In 1981, she moved to the United States with her husband, Dr Sonny Wong, eventually settling in Hawaii. Over the 40 years of their marriage, they created a home and raised a beautiful family. Jenny is the beloved mother of Tash, Brittany, Samantha, and Emily, and the proud grandmother of Jemima, Remington, Lillian, Levi, Stephen, Eric, and Sybbie. She instilled values of family, education, responsibility, and independence in each of her children. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at Makara Cemetery, Seyip section, on January 4, 2023 at 2.00pm.
Passed peacefully after a brief illness at Hospice Southland, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, aged 86 years. Loved son of Fred and Nina Hesselin, brother of Ian Hesselin, Don Hesselin, and little brother of Gloria McIntosh. (All deceased) Adored uncle Mick of his nieces, nephews, and their families.
