What creative ways are you saving water?
Hi neighbours. Our water use is "skyrocketing" according to Watercare, breaking previous water records three times last week. The water company says if we continue to use more and more water on hot days, restrictions may be introduced. Most of Rodney is on tank water, but what creative ways are you trying to save water? Do you have a timer in your shower? Have you replaced your herbs with cacti so you don't have to water them? Let us know, we'd love to hear your stories.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
