Please don't burn plastic water containers in your back yard rubbish tin...... the smoke is soooooo bad for you - take them to the recycle yard in Beach Road, Dargaville. They take paper, cardboard, glass, plastic tins etc. and it's free to drop your recycle stuff there.

Our cover story today is about journalist Karen Rutherford's journey to recovery after a car allegedly ploughed into her horse, throwing Rutherford into its windscreen. Rutherford is now getting behind a petition launched the week after her crash by the NZ Horse Network to Minister of Transport Simon Bridges to make legislation clearer when it comes to passing horses on roads. Should horses be included in the national master plan for road safety?
