As we pass the shortest day and the Matariki star cluster (Pleiades) rises in our sky, it is a time to reflect on the year that has passed and new year just beginning as the days begin to lengthen. At Thames Museum we have Makariki activities for all ages - come along and enjoy! Our Matariki is a combined event with Thames South School te Kura o te Kauaeranga - thank you teachers and tamariki! Your korowai is stunning!
