Free vaccinations for dogs
Christchurch City Council
Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust, Kowhai Vet, Avonside Wainoni Vet Clinic and Christchurch City Council are teaming up to give out free parvo vaccinations and microchips for dogs over six months old in the Eastgate Mall car park on Wednesday 23 July and Saturday 26 July๐พ๐โ๐ฆบ
In April, Dogwatch rescued an expectant mother who they then found out had parvo. After giving birth, all pups had to be humanely euthanised as they had no chance of survival.
Dogwatch Adoption Centre Manager Rae Rossiter says one little vaccination would have changed the outcome for all of those dogs, and that's what prompted them to organise this event.
The clinic will be open from 10am - 4pm, bookings are not required. Find more information on Newsline:

I'm a fruit. If you take away my first letter, I'm a crime. If you take away my first two letters, I'm an animal. If you take away my first and last letter, I'm a form of music. What am I?
