Crochet hobby
Hi I just wanted to post and introduce my hobby business of crocheting baby blankets, market bags, beanies and baby booties among other items. I love a challenege and always looking for a new project to give a go. I've been doing it as a hobby for a few years and been told by a number of friends and family that I should start selling my creations so if you have a little one on the way or looking for a baby shower gift or a gift in general. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
