MenzShed in St Martins?
A possible site for a MenzShed has become available in St Martins area. MenzSheds can be a great place for blokes to get together, learn new skills, and do things for the community. There will be a public meeting on Monday 27th May at 7.15pm at St Martins Presbyterian Church, 43 St Martins Road, to take some first steps to develop this project. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
