We are moving and have a whole lot of stuff we don't want. We don't have time to sell, so if you are in the neighbourhood and want to pick up a bargain -- come by asap today (Saturday 29 September). Items range from kids clothes, a Queen Anne lounge suite, side tables, entertainment unit, blinds, kitchen stuff, pictures -- all sorts. All must go by 3pm today otherwise we'll have to dump it. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
