St Martins Lawns Bowls Open Afternoon
Hi all, St Martins Bowling club is having an open afternoon on Saturday 25th August 1pm to 3:30pm. If you would like to come a long and have a go at bowls please be there by 1pm and we will put you into a team. No experience necessary. No age barrier. (15 Clouston St, St Martins). Only flat shoes required. It is a great sport to get into. Thanks Pauline

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
