Teddy bear.
This bear was dropped in Chch Central about three weeks ago. It was picked up by Donna, who has put daily posts on Christchurch Lost and Found site, but it has not yet been claimed. Her daily posts show this bear has had lots of adventures, while in Donna’s care, but is still hoping the owner will come and claim. It is possible it was lost by visitors to Christchurch, maybe even someone from a Cruise Ship. Do go to Donna’s site and read the bear’s adventures.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
